Kerrankin jotain valmista

Sain vaihteeksi jotain valmiiksikin.

I finally finished my first pair of Jaywalkers. I love the color and the stripes, but the toe and the heel are a bit funny, and next time I'll probably use the "normal" (is it french?) heel. The yarn is Austermanns Step, a lovely yarn with aloe vera and jojoba. It was nice to knit it during the cold and dry winter season when my hands normally are painfully dry. I though I might be using these as night socks, but I think the yarn itches a bit, so we'll have to see.

  1. They look lovely . . . I like the striping of the yarn. Sorry to hear that they are a tad itchy. That is always the worst. This might account for the fact that I tend of rub yarn on either the inside of my arm or (gasp) neck to test for itchiness. I just finished my first pair, but I can say that it won't be my last.
